Soldiers are at the second to the top space in the authority scale, they have authority over both civilians and slaves, soldiers are treated with respect, more than any other profession in legion territory, soldiers have more freedoms than civilians, but they also have more responsibilities. The civilians have general freedom, as long as they are loyal and obey the laws of the mighty Caesar, civilians are not treated as lower class to soldiers but they have less authority. The slaves have no authority and work only as workers and servants to the civilians, military, and as slaves to Caesar.
