I just spend 40min in offline mode walking in one direction only to find myself hugging a minefield in the hope of finding an exit. I have yet to live long enough to even find an extraction area. Even in offline mode I'm just walking around until the timer runs out. But the one and only thing I ask for in this game is a map! Give everyone a map and a compass so that at the very least we have a chance. It would be one thing to have a tutorial as you suggest. I have but one single suggestion, but I can't find a button anywhere that says 'create new post' or 'new thread' or anything along those lines. This game sucks! I'd best describe it as a 'cluelessly walking around for 40min only to get sniped or die when the time runs out at the end' simulator. This game was gifted to me yesterday by a friend. I get the conscept of the game, and it seems like it could be fun, but not when I don't know where to go! I don't mind getting killed I just want a sense of direction so that I have a chance to actually play! I get that it's a 'hardcore' game, but it's still a game, it should have just tiny molecule fun in it. I've already spent 10 hours in this and had no fun whatsoever. Just a simple map and compass so that I and any other players will have some semblance of direction. Doesn't need to be a 'videogame map' where I show up as a dot on it or anything. I can't spend hours on end, dying over and over just to learn all the various maps inside and out! I have a life! And just like in real life I can find my way if I have a map. TLDR: Make a tutorial, new players will have an increased chance of staying. I want this community to thrive and grow, as should BSG. I already have the layout of a fair, informative, short tutorial made up. but people do not want to do a video study session before playing the game(like changing champions on league or something.) I'd be MORE THAN HAPPY to help work on this in order to encourage new players to stick around. There's an infinite amount of third party info via reddit, youtube, etc.

There's no worse feeling than me, sofa couch on my back, 995 in my mags, absolutely ZOOTED, killing a level 3 thats running in circles and has food and water in his backpack.

I get that its a hardcore game, but it should be hardcore in the realism aspect, not hardcore in the aspect of not knowing game mechanics or objectives. Every game in the history of games has a tutorial or some variant. I made a reddit post that got a bit of attention from the community. Been a part of this for quite some time now.
